Ian here at base camp,
News has filtered through that the lads are enjoying an early night after their second days cycle. Todays cycle was a bit thougher than yesterday though it was shorter. Legs were tired and energy was seriously depleted as they made their way from Dundalk to Castlewellan Co. Down.
Sadly our dad didn't join Mark and Jay on the cycle, he chose to be support driver on todays leg and let Lesley be navigator. However they did have company, Rory joined up with them after a leisurely sailing lesson yesterday he drove up to Dundalk to take part in todays cycle.
So, at the end of todays cycle, Mark and Jay have covered just over 85 miles, putting them near the halfway mark of the journey. And a quick update on the donations, we are currently up to £4,380.00, so getting there!
